Description

This case simulation-based workshop will utilize a combination of low-, mid-, and high-fidelity mannequins and models to teach case management and procedural techniques necessary to manage respiratory emergencies effectively. A variety of respiratory emergency cases will be simulated, and participants will have opportunities to practice placing temporary tracheostomy tubes and guidewire-inserted chest tubes on simple models that can be recreated at home for practice and teaching colleagues these procedures.
